Fred has special skills in Commercial Strategy, Business Planning/Analysis and Business Development.
Prior to joining Safaricom in 2006, he worked with Eastman Kodak for two years as a Business Analyst. His sound commercial and analytical skills have enabled him to consistently identify opportunities for sustainable business growth.
A husband and father of a 3-year-old son, Fred is passionate about giving meaning and purpose to people’s lives, and he thrives on challenges that drive meaningful transformation in customers’ lives. While he appreciates that technology cannot cause transformation in itself, he strongly believes that technology does accelerate transformation and he’s always looking for ways where businesses, governments and society can leverage technology in the simplest way possible to drive growth.
When not developing business opportunities, Fred is a farmer and he spends most of his free time with family at his farm. Fred also loves sports and will always create time to enjoy football and Formula 1.
