Better Future Stage
Better Future Stage – Africa’s Youth Dividend Can Shape the Global Future
Africa’s youth dividend can be a curse or a blessing, and it needs to be supported in a way that will empower our youth to create not only a better future for themselves but also for generations to come.
Government, civil society and private sector all have a responsibility to create an environment for young businesses, where they can flourish, and access support that is needed to build sustainable businesses. While the sector that has the biggest responsibility and capacity to increase youth empowerment and contribute to the success of young businesses is the private sector, it can effectively do so, as part of a dedicated multi-sectoral ecosystem. In turn, entrepreneurs need to stay focused and stay committed to contribute to building the Africa we want.
